Leather bicycle saddles from the Netherlands
Zadelman was founded with the aim of bringing a modern Dutch leather bicycle saddle to the market. Although leather is a classic and relatively expensive material compared to synthetics, it is the most comfortable. In collaboration with Technische Veren Twente, Zadelman has taken on the challenge of mastering the art of leather bicycle saddle production.
Technische Veren Twente was a supplier of Lepper until 2020 and has supplied saddle frames and springs since 2014. Lepper was discontinued in 2020 under the management of the Accell Group. Zadelman develops and produces contemporary Dutch bicycle saddles in-house.
Our belief
A leather bicycle saddle is considered old-fashioned by many. Zadelman is convinced that leather is ideally suited as a basic material for a bicycle saddle. Leather breathes, adapts to the contours of your body and does not heat up while cycling. Leather is the most comfortable and durable material in the long run.
